Save equines from neglect & abusive situations & provide them with a loving home for life

Rescue, rehabilitation and placement headquartered in Mystic, CT. Our nonprofit rescue is a small volunteer based, all breed horse rescue, although we specialize in gaited and mini-breeds. There are many auctions that supply the foreign-owned slaughter houses that kill horses for human consumption abroad.
We assist horses through owner surrenders, neglect cases, local auctions outbidding kill-byers, buying sick or injured horss and purchasing directly out of kill pens. Our goal is to save as many lives as possible.
It is only with your support and donation that we are able to save, rehabilitate and re-home the horses. Please consider making a life saving donation today. In doing so you are helping to save a horses life. If you want to donate, check our contact us/donate page. We have applied for non-profit 501c(3) status and once we have received status we can provide our tax ID number. Spoke with IRS on 11/23/2009 and he indicated we would likely have approval in 1st qtr. 2010. We will keep you posted . If you would like to adopt, check out our adoption page or call or email us. If you want to volunteer or provide a foster home please contact us as well.
